My 'I Wanna Feel' Music Video

Here is my finished edit of my music video for Secondcity's 'I Wanna Feel'. My friends Charlotte Greaves, Charlotte Baron, Rachel Martin and I had a good time filming the video and this is really shown throughout the video.

I have created an animated storyboard for my next video 'I Wanna Feel'. I want to have a video where there was no performance clips to see whether I prefer to include it or not. My video will begin with a girl applying her make up in the mirror. She is dressed all in black. She heads across the room and presses play on the 'boombox' and the song 'I Wanna Feel' by Secondcity begins to play. She then picks up the 'boombox' and turns around and heads out of the room, down the stairs and out of the house. The girl struts around her neighbourhood playing the song aloud and passing people by. She heads down a path to meet a friend who is also dressed in black. Black is associated with power and mystery. The two girls then walk into the woods  where they are joined by another girl. They continue into the woods where they eventually find a spot and place the 'boombox' on the floor where they begin to dance. The girls let themselves go and have a good time and forget their problems they have in mainstream society. The dance scene will be shot in slow motion. At the end of the song and one of the girls picks up the 'boombox' and they walk away.

I have analysed the music video for Secondcity's music video for 'I Wanna Feel'. I liked the idea behind the moving around various locations where music is played and people are influenced to dance.

The song I have chosen for my second music video is 'I Wanna Feel' - Secondcity. The song has been huge hit over the summer and I thought it would be a good song choice as it fits with my music genre and it would allow me and  a few of my friends to have a good day filming a music video with a song filled with good summer vibes.

Blogging

Blogging

This summer break will only be home for a few days so I have been stressing over finding the time to complete my work. Hence the lack of blog posts. I have been improving and updating older blog posts where and when I had a spare 5 minutes. I am having to blog using an app on my phone. This is the first week that I have had wifi so I should be able to post when I am not taking part in activities run my the NCS program I am currently partaking in. 

I ensure that all the work expected of me will be completed by the time I return to sixth form in September.
