Welcome Back
I'm back and slightly more refreshed after having a short two week break after the very stressful exam period. So glad that's over for while now.
Since we've been back we've had an introduction to the A2 course. We were shown a range of fantastic music videos and movie trailers. Before the introductory lesson I'd been thinking a lot about what I'd like to do and honestly I really wanted to do a music video as outside of school I can easily spend hours on YouTube watching music videos and think about what I'd do with the song if I was the director. The only thing putting me off creating a music video was finding actors who would be willing to lip sing and be in my video as my friends are shy and consider themselves very awkward and would be more likely to take part in a movie trailer. However, I was very impressed at what students could achieve with plenty of planning and rehearsing and I think that I'd be capable of creating something of a high standard as I am a perfectionist and need everything to look planned out correctly to avoid any unnecessary issues when it comes to my coursework. Last year there was various minor disasters that occurred due to audio and that isn't my strong point and the quality of the microphones on the cameras make work be presented as quite unprofessional this could be avoided by creating a music video.
I can be quite persuasive and I think I could convince at least two of the most 'girly girls' to get involved with a pop music video.
